One-artist Exhibition “Landscapes and Places” Givon Gallery, Tel Aviv

“This is very Israeli art, with wonderfully blue seas and yellow hamsin-landscapes”

Nissim Mevorakh “Haaretz” 6.12.1982

“His last exhibition at the Givon Gallery in Tel Aviv in the summer of 1982 demonstrated the painterly and plastic accomplishments that can be achieved in monotype. These pictures are free of all pretensions, with blue or ochre patches, the delicate reds and russets of autumn, together with the gentle plasticity of oil paint. His free, spontaneous brushwork, not pre-determined, has created formal, colourful symbols and signs with superb spontaneity, evidence of true artistic achievement.”

From the essay “To Bonneh” by Gidon Ofrath in “Traces in Art” 1986
